Graphic Design

The foundations and practice of graphic design, visual communication and modern tools.

Duration
3–5 months
Format
One-to-one, 2 lessons per week + work reviews
Who it is for
For beginner designers, social media specialists and anyone who needs to work confidently with visuals.

About the direction

Design as a language: composition, typography, colour and meaning. We aim for clear and appropriate rather than merely decorative — from a social post to a brand identity and an interface. Heavy on practice and critique.

What the student will be able to do

  • Build composition and work with a grid
  • Choose type and colour deliberately
  • Prepare artwork for print and screen

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to draw well?

No. Graphic design is about meaning, structure and tools rather than freehand drawing.

Which software do we use?

Figma is the main tool, with Photoshop and Illustrator alongside it.

Will I have a portfolio?

Yes — the work from the course becomes a portfolio you can show to clients.
